Design summary of the
exhibition center |
Shanghai
International Purchase Exhibition Center
is designed according to the development
trend of Chinese trade -- namely China will
be developed into the world factory, combining
international large-scale enterprises, seeking
to establish the purchase and supply chain
which conforms to the new round of economic
development trend – namely the basic principle
that who capable of manufacturing the most
competitive and good but cheap products
can occupy the market.
The
purpose of constructing “hanghai International
Purchase Exhibition Center” is to enable
the foreign purchase enterprises to find
the most ideal manufacture and processing
enterprise within the shortest time, and
enable the domestic manufacturers to export
more products directly to foreign countries
utilizing the list of foreign purchasers
and contact methods provided by the Exhibition
Center.
For
this reason, the Exhibition Center will
try to attract 500 foreign large-scale purchase
enterprises, call 2000 domestic large and
medium-sized manufacturers, provide instant
commercial information for imports and exports,
train professional commercial qualified
personnel on imports and exports, establish
complete and good public relationship network,
create conditions for the export and foreign
exchange earning of the domestic manufacturers,
and establish model of construction of international
purchase exhibition chain centers in other
cities of China in the future.
We
believe firmly that after the completion
of “Shanghai International Purchase Exhibition
Center”, it will bring about inestimable
influence to the export and foreign exchange
earning and economy of Pujiang Town, Shanghai

Planning and design summary
of the project |
Shanghai
International Purchase Exhibition Center
occupies an area of about 1,090,000 square
meters. Its geographical position is in
Pujiang Town, which is the joint of Minhang
district and Pudong newly developed area.
namely the joint of Puxing Highway, Sanlu
Road and Luheng Road. The position of the
area is 17.5 kilometers away from the People’s
Square in the city centre, 21 kilometers
away from Hongqiao International Airport,
38 kilometers away from Pudong International
Airport, 10 kilometers away from the South
Freight Transport Railway Station, 25 kilometers
away from Shanghai Port Wharf, and 48 kilometers
away from Luchaogang deepwater container
wharf, which is very convenient for logistics
and traffic.
What
deserves to be especially mentioned is that
this area is only about four kilometers
away from the hall site of Shanghai World
Expo in 2010, and is less than one kilometer
away from the speedway at the periphery
of Shanghai, so it is very suitable to construct
the project of “Shanghai International Purchase
Exhibition Center” which is closely bound
up with the World Expo. When the World Expo
is convened, we can introduce the manufacture
and processing enterprises of the Exhibition
Center to the participating enterprises
from various countries, and can invite the
exhibiters to visit the International Purchase
Exhibition Center and discuss business there,
creating conditions for the cooperation
between the domestic manufactures and foreign
manufacturers.

Purchase Exhibition Center, we will fully
embody an international purchase exhibition
center with beautiful environment which
will fully embody the international advanced
level and conform to the purchase requirements
of international large-scale purchase enterprises,
integrating some service organizations such
as for shopping, entertainment, fitness,
medical treatment, industrial and commercial
administration, taxation, commodity inspection,
customs declaration, logistics, warehouse,
bank, hotel, legal consultant, tourism service,
insurance business, training for commercial
qualified personnel, network conference
system, network purchase system, and network
chain selling system, etc. |

Conception of the planning
and design |
In
the consideration that the purchasers to
the Exhibition Center are mainly customers
from the USA and Europe, the whole building
of the Exhibition Center will mainly embody
the hugeness, grandness, neatness, tidiness
and magnificence of USA style. Artificial
hillock, pond, green field, flowers and
plants and sunshine are adopted in the environmental
design to satisfy the requirements of geomantic
omen of the domestic manufacturers. The
environmental design will enable each exhibiter
of each exhibition hall to enjoy the beautiful
sceneries created by the pond, green field,
flowers and plants and sunshine. The service
facilities will mainly represent the luxury,
art, refinement and spaciousness of European
style. In the aspect of traffic system,
helicopters will be available for the Exhibition
Center. When the purchasers want to inspect
the factories of the manufacturer, they
can arrive there quickly with the helicopters.
Also, the guests can enjoy the beautiful
scenery of Shanghai on helicopters. In the
aspect of commercial system, the application
of network, electronic business, information
and other high-tech products is the main
part, which will establish the model of
construction of international purchase exhibition
chain centers in other cities of China in
the future. |

Pattern and structure |
The
allocation of land in planning of the Exhibition
Center will be conducted according to the
terrain of the site, abide by the land use
policies of the country and the local government,
in accordance with the conception of economic
value creation and international purchase
develop trend. It will be a modern international
purchase exhibition center integrating purchaser
exhibition building, manufacturer exhibition
building, hotel, warehouse, logistics, entertainment
activity centre, medical treatment and fitness
centre, training service centre and supermarket
shopping centre.
The
Exhibition Center will be composed of four
Y-shape manufacturer exhibition buildings,
two rectangle purchaser exhibition buildings
and one Y-shape commercial hotel. The design
purpose of the shape of buildings of the
Exhibition Center is to enable all guests
in every room of the Exhibition Center to
enjoy sunshine, and furthermore appreciate
the beautiful scenery composed of fountain,
saplings, flowers and plants, green field
and roads outside the window.
The
left side in the north of the Exhibition
Center will be composed of three buildings
of hotel apartment, one building of medical
treatment and fitness centre, one building
of entertainment activity centre and one
building of training service centre. The
right side in the north of the Exhibition
Center will be composed of a warehouse and
a building of shopping centre. |

Greenery landscape |
At
the main entrances of the commercial hotel
in the centre of the Exhibition Center,
there will be a semi-circular fountain dancing
at the front entrance with music imitating
the one in front of the gate of BLAGEL,
the most luxurious hotel of LAS VEGAS, and
an artificial hillock with waterfall at
the back entry imitating the one in front
of the main entrance of THE MIRAGE, the
hotel which make the largest money. At the
four corners of the Exhibition Center, there
will be four circular small-scale fountains
constructed; at the two sides of the commercial
hotel and at the intervals of six exhibition
buildings, four semi-circular fountains
will be built in addition.
Grassland
for golf course evergreen all the year round
will be adopted for the green field of the
Exhibition Center, little trees with different
trimmed shapes in the American and European
gardens will be planted, and different flowers
and plants will be planted according to
the weather of Shanghai. These flowers and
trees will let the buildings of the Exhibition
Center be surrounded with singing of birds
and fragrance of flowers, green fields and
small brooks in four seasons. |

Road and traffic system |
The
roads around the Exhibition Center and entering
into the underground garage will be the
spacious two-way two-vehicle roads; at the
front of the commercial hotel there is the
car park of the Exhibition Center for luxurious
cars, and on the roof there is the parking
apron for helicopters. Among the exhibition
buildings, there are elegant and spacious
marble pavements.
Roads
around the hotel apartment, entertainment
activity centre, medical treatment, health
centre, the training service centre and
roads for entry to the underground garage
will be spacious two-way two-vehicle roads;
and at the front of the entertainment activity
centre, medical treatment and health centre
and training service centre is the car park.
Among the hotel apartments, there will be
pavements made of cobble stones.
At
the periphery of the warehouse, there will
be spacious two-way two-vehicle roads. In
the west and south of the warehouse, there
will be the unloading place and parking
field where 20-ton container trucks can
be parked. In the north and east of the
warehouse, there will be the goods pickup
place where 20-ton container trucks can
be parked.
Around
the shopping centre, there will be spacious
pedestrian area, and there will be spacious
two-way two-vehicle roads at the periphery
of the pedestrian area. In the east of the
shopping centre, there will be a parking
station for buses and passenger carriages. |

Introduction of the related
functions |
It
is the main function of the related buildings
to create wealth and benefit for the Exhibition
Center, the local government, the purchasers
and the manufacturers. The buildings will
provide space for opening the export market
of the products, training commercial qualified
personnel, and establish private and commercial
relationship, etc, of the exhibiters.
It
is the main function of the manufacturer
exhibition building for the manufacturers
to introduce the actual conditions such
as the factory, equipment, manufacture,
management and staff, etc, to the purchasers
with computers by setting up in the exhibition
halls, and to introduce the quality of the
products with samples, so as to complete
the preliminary inspection of the large-scale
purchase enterprises on the manufacture
scale, manufacture technique, manufacture
management, manufacture process, manufacture
capability and manufacture technology, etc,
of the manufacturer. The manufacturers can
also carry out business contacts and introduce
products through network utilizing the list
of the foreign purchasers provided by the
Exhibition Center.
It
is the main function of the purchaser exhibition
building for the purchasers to carry out
competitive bidding through the network
set up in the exhibition hall to get the
lowest price or the most satisfying manufacturers.
The purchasers can also invite the manufacturers
to the exhibition hall for face-to-face
negotiation, so as to find the most satisfying
manufactures. The purchaser can even sell
the self-manufactured products to Chinese
market through the related enterprises of
the Exhibition Center.

is the main function of the commercial hotel
to enable the exhibiters to establish good
private relationship with their guests by
providing the various luxurious facilities
set up in the hotel, such as helicopters
and luxurious cars, and other convenient
services such as free health examination,
etc, so as to get insurance business, tourism
service business, raw materials purchase,
spare parts purchase business and other
economic interests in return.
It
is the main function of the hotel apartment
to provide convenience to the personnel
who arrive at the Exhibition Center in the
evening. Because the purchasers are foreign
enterprises, so there is the problem of
time difference. It is necessary for some
personnel working in the Exhibition Center
to carry out business contact in the Exhibition
Center very late in the evening or very
early in the morning. For this reason, we
construct the hotel apartment for the working
personnel near the Exhibition Center, enabling
them to work in the Exhibition Center feeling
at ease.
It
is the main function of the entertainment
activity centre to provide the fitness and
entertainment places and facilities, such
as restaurant, bar, dance hall, Karaoke,
sauna bathroom and massage, etc, for the
working personnel of the Exhibition Center
and the guests staying in the commercial
hotel. Working personnel can establish good
private relationship with the guests through
entertainment in the centre. The public
relationship department of the Exhibition
Center will also create good relationship
with the exhibiters of the Exhibition Center
utilizing the entertainment centre, so as
to get insurance, tourism service, raw materials
purchase and spare parts purchase business
and other economic interests in return.
It
is the main function of the fitness and
medical treatment centre to provide sports
items such as baseball, squash, billiard
ball, volleyball, basketball, table tennis,
badminton, swimming, fitness room, health
consultation and health treatment for the
working personnel of the Exhibition Center
and the guests staying in the commercial
hotel; the Exhibition Center will also introduce
advanced medical treatment equipments, and
provide the regular annual health examination
for the exhibitors cooperating with insurance
companies. The public relationship department
of the Exhibition Center will also create
good relationship with the exhibitors of
the Exhibition Center with the reason that
the health and medical treatment centre
cares about the exhibiter, so as to get
insurance business, tourism service, raw
materials purchase and spare parts purchase
business and other economic interests in
return.
It
is the main function of the training service
centre to train commercial qualified personnel
for the exhibiters and provide commercial
convenience for imports and exports. The
training centre will train the students
on how to use the purchase information provided
by the Exhibition Center, and how to carry
out negotiation with the foreign purchasers
with network, etc. The training centre also
will train the students on how to use the
chain network of the manufacturers set up
in the Exhibition Center to sell all the
products of the manufacture enterprises
which have join the chain network, so as
to get commission for the enterprise he/she
services and for himself/herself. Government
service organizations such as industrial
and commercial administration, taxation
and commodity inspection, etc, will also
be set up in the service centre by the Exhibition
Center uniting with the local government,
so as to provide convenience for the exhibitors.
It
is the main function of the warehouse and
logistics centre to provide warehouse service
for the exhibiters, so that the commodities
of the exhibiters can be sold in super market
and shopping centre of the Exhibition Center
and Shanghai. The logistics centre of the
Exhibition Center will set up a website
of logistics information for the exhibiters.
In the website, the place of departure,
destination, departure time of sea, land
and air transport will be announced, and
also the information of vacant field for
placing merchandises. Some details, such
as whether there is container for assembling
the commodities, and the assembling volume
and price, etc, will be announced in the
website, which can save expenses and create
wealth for the exhibiters.
It
is the main function of the supermarket
shopping center to carry out the negotiation
with large-scale domestic chain stores utilizing
the field of the supermarket shopping center,
and sell the products of the exhibiters
of the Exhibition Center to large-scale
chain stores. The main function of the supermarket
shopping center is to sell the products
of the exhibiters, provide selling place
for the exhibiters in Shanghai, and create
economic benefits. |
